Dedicated to learning the mechanics and strategies for preparing, filing and prosecuting patent applications. Familiarize students with guiding an invention from conception to patent, both domestically and abroad. Considers strategies of patent drafting to provide broad patent scope and enforceable patent claims. Knowledge of intellectual property or patent law recommended prior to taking this course.
