Comprehensive investigation of the heart rhythm disturbances that occur within the chambers and conducting tissue of the heart. Partitioned into three sections allowing the systematic review of arrhythmias that occur in the atria, AV junction and ventricles of the heart. The material is designed to maximize understanding by analyzing electrocardiogram rhythm strips to reinforce applying the theoretical component of the course. Also uses the application of these theories through laboratory experiences allowing hands-on experience with electrode placement and 12 lead ECG interpretations.
