Catalog description

Contemporary immigration and its related issues have generated significant debates, reforms and responses by government officials, businesses and private citizens, to name but a few in this country. This course provides a much-needed framework for understanding some of the immigration issues in Arizona and the country generally. It also focuses on some of the political responses by Latinos and their significant mobilization at the local, state and federal levels.
