Offers an introduction to Biblical Hebrew, the language in which most of the books of the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament are written. Provides the basic tools to understand and translate Biblical Hebrew texts. Covers the alphabet, basic vocabulary, morphology and syntax. Emphasizes a linguistic, literary and historical approach to the biblical text.
