Catalog description

Prepares students for the Carnegie-Knight News21 investigative journalism summer fellowship. Immerses students in the selected topic for the annual investigation, conducting deep research, generating data and public records, interviewing experts, developing sources and producing initial reports and multimedia elements. Considers students who perform well in the seminar for paid summer fellowships during which they travel the country to complete their reporting and produce the annual project on an issue of national import.
