Catalog description

Challenges students to create new design concepts that improve society and the natural environment while also delighting users and creating value for business. Requires some independent direction by the student; however, instructor assigns deadlines and expectations for deliverables, and requires cooperation and collaboration among students. Project-based course includes readings, presentations, critical analysis, discussion and the public exhibition and presentation of design work.
