Assists students in developing their knowledge of the development of Indigenous children and appropriate methods and strategies for effective instruction in preschool/kindergarten classrooms. Explores issues faced by Native American teachers to provide both an effective and meaningful educational experience for Native American and Alaska/Hawaiian Native children.
