Presents a comprehensive model of behavioral and psychological assessment for behavioral health clinicians in primary care and related medical settings. Provides behavioral health consultants with the necessary knowledge base and skills to develop an appropriate assessment and treatment plan for a variety of commonly seen complaints in primary care. Places attention on the assessment of both psychiatric and behavioral complaints across the lifespan. Students become familiar with both structured interview and empirically support quantitative measures consistently utilized to enhance our understanding of the presenting complaint.
