Focuses on contemporary aesthetic concepts and language for interdisciplinary visual arts application. Introduces core concepts of visual design: the elements and principles of design and the creative process, the basics of drawing, color theory, typography and 2D design. Engages student in the fundamental aspects of design to build an adequate foundation and prepares for the next level of the study of interdisciplinary arts practice.
