Led by a former U.S. Ambassador with extensive international negotiating experience, both as a diplomat and in the private sector. Covers how to conduct successful international negotiations that achieve enduring results for both negotiating parties. Understanding how to work and achieve results in other cultures is a foundation for successful negotiations. Students use principles of negotiations and cross-cultural guidelines in their future global careers. Examines case studies of successful international negotiations; students select one issue or area for their final class project and develop a negotiating strategy.
