Catalog description

Covers different perspectives and techniques for improving automation design and system integration. Covers basic principles in human-technology interaction, key concepts in supervisory control automation, and promising approaches for increasingly autonomous automation such as adaptive algorithms and embodied agents (robots). Emphasizes literature review, concept synthesis and communication skills through writing, in-class presentations and in-class discussion.
