Design and Arts Corps Community-Engaged Practices Capstone

Catalog description

Self-directed modular learning course explores strategies and approaches to community-engaged creative practices, culminating in direct engagement with a community practice project. Includes a required meeting with teaching staff in preparation for approaching potential community partners. Students identify, approach and work with a community partner in tandem with the modules. Instructors are available at any time to help problem solve, level set and support the community work. Students earn a digital credential as they complete each module to culminate the course by turning in their practice project.
