Catalog description

Builds upon foundational web design and development skills with a focus on responsive and mobile-first design, intermediate CSS techniques and web accessibility standards. Students refine their knowledge of HTML and CSS while applying industry best practices to create adaptable, user-centered websites for diverse devices and platforms. Topics include responsive layouts, media queries, viewport configuration, advanced styling and animation, and accessible navigation and forms. Emphasizes compliance with accessibility guidelines (including WAI-ARIA) and equips students with the tools to design inclusive, standards-compliant web experiences.
