Introduces spatial thinking, a cross-disciplinary foundation for geographic information science (the science of dealing with spatial/geographical data; their manipulation, interpretation and use in problem solving); geospatial technologies (the specific technologies underpinning geographic information science); and spatial analysis (the science of solving spatial problems).
