Catalog description

On completing the Basic 2 Reading/Writing course, a student will be able to (1) recognize main ideas, find supporting details, and recognize the organizational pattern in short and page-length reading passages; and (2) produce a composition, based on a model, with a personal point of view, demonstrating level-appropriate control of grammar, word form, and punctuation.
