Provides hands-on experience in crime scene analysis, analytical techniques and essential laboratory techniques for careers related to forensic science. Students have the opportunity to assess an indoor mock crime scene, gaining experience in documentation and lab techniques related to fingerprint processing, bloodstain pattern analysis, photography and conducting presumptive tests. Additionally, provides students with the opportunity to carry out analytical chemistry techniques and DNA analysis on a variety of forensic evidence types.
