Catalog description

Deepens knowledge of chemistry and its application to forensic science within the framework of a forensic laboratory quality assurance system, during sample preparation and analysis, and the interpretation of the evidence. Teaches strategies for the identification and comparison of nonbiological physical evidence such as ignitable liquids, explosives, gunshot residue, inks, paper and the traditional traces fibers, glass and paint.
