Advanced training in scene mapping and recovery. Students gain experience in state-of-the art technologies used by law enforcement and crime scene professionals to locate, map and recover critical evidence from outdoor crime scenes and clandestine burials. Gives instruction in the use of advanced equipment and technologies such as ground-penetrating radar, advanced photography, the FARO 3D scanner system and GPS survey and mapping, as well as through instruction in the fundamentals of crime scene mapping and forensic archaeology.
