Catalog description

Familiarizes students with the comparative methods used in the forensic analysis of fingerprint, questioned document and firearms evidence. Discusses the theory and principles of individualization as assessed in forensic casework. Exposes the operation and theory of the scientific instruments used when performing comparative analysis. Reinforces learning objectives through case studies, practical exercises, outside projects and guest lectures.
