Catalog description

Introductory-level lecture and laboratory course for nonmajors examining the biological and chemical foundations of forensic analysis conducted in the crime laboratory. Focuses on analytical techniques such as quantitative DNA analysis, toxicology and controlled substance analysis. Also addresses death investigation and the forensic use of plant and pollen evidence in criminal investigations.
