Catalog description

Introduces the practical application of futures thinking and foresight methods in advancing better futures. Prepares students for successful careers using insights about the future to improve outcomes for businesses, communities, governments and not-for-profit organizations. Applies ideas about the future to support strategy, planning, decision making and project implementation. Students learn to guide innovation and advance the use of new technologies to benefit individuals, families, businesses, communities, cities, nations and the planet. Shows how tools and methods for futures and foresight can be used to support work in a wide variety of fields, including sustainability, health, entrepreneurship, engineering, development, environmental protection, resilience, prosperity, inclusion and well-being.
