EMSL Capstone Course II

Catalog description

Final and culminating course in the EMSL sequence. As such, via initiation of a sustainability capstone project, students apply knowledge and skills learned in all preceding EMSL courses and, especially, what was learned as part of the preceding course during the 'immersive' week taught in a major U.S. metropolitan area such as Washington, DC, or Los Angeles, CA. Builds on the capstone proposal previously developed to implement a sustainability leadership project in a specific organization. Thus, students actually initiate that project, track and report its progress, and reflect on the experience going from plan to implementation.
