Grand Challenges in Environmental Life Sciences

Catalog description

Introduces first-year graduate students to a range of fields related to the Environmental Life Sciences graduate program. Co-instructed by an interdisciplinary faculty team, combines overview lectures and active discussion of current literature in the fields of inquiry. Culminates in synthetic collaborative research proposals on topics that foster transdisciplinary approaches to environmental life science questions.
