Catalog description

Topics include state-space models, Lyapunov stability, controllability and observability, optimization and optimal control, and nonlinear systems and control. Includes both theories and real-world engineering examples/demos, and students apply the advanced control system approaches to self-selected course projects. Prior knowledge in classical linear control theory is necessary to be successful in this course.
