Delivered through lectures, hands-on assignments and projects where students develop their own electric vehicle (EV) models and simulations. Students learn the use of Matlab/Simulink to conduct system-level modeling and analysis. Uses model-based system engineering to design complex EV architectures and optimize systems. Get full EV simulation with motors, generators and energy storage components up and running quickly using pre-built reference applications for common powertrain configurations.
