Catalog description

Introduction to the generation and utilization of electricity from solar energy. Exploration of the science and engineering of direct conversion (photovoltaics), including the design, fabrication, and operation of solar cells, and the construction and performance of solar cell modules. Prior knowledge of properties of electronic materials is required to be successful in this course.
