Focuses on the analysis and design of fully integrated linear and switching power delivery circuits, along with associated analog building blocks. Students explore theoretical principles and practical methodologies essential for developing efficient VLSI and stand-alone power management systems. Key topics include circuit design techniques, stabilization, performance optimization, and the integration of analog components including LDOs, buck regulators, boost regulators, current sensors, compensation networks and spice level simulations. Combines lectures with hands-on labs to reinforce learning outcomes. Students learn how to design and analyze complex power delivery and regulation circuits. Special emphasis placed on innovative design strategies and real-world applications.
