Develops knowledge and skills for teaching young children and classroom management in a primary setting, establishing a positive classroom environment, examining special education and effective lesson delivery in a pre-kindergarten - grade 3 special education setting. Reinforces the application and evaluation of the NIET Aspiring Teacher Rubric. Provides opportunities for students to engage as a teacher and learner in a classroom setting.
