Provides the theoretical basis for the assessment and management of infants, children, adolescents and young adults with select complex acute, critical and chronic health conditions in tertiary, emergency and specialty inpatient/outpatient health care settings. Emphasizes recognition of the dynamic and fluctuating health status of emergent pediatric health conditions by body system.
