Catalog description

Provides an orientation to the field of community dance practice. Over two consecutive semesters, students investigate foundational theories pertaining to the development of community dance worldwide, are exposed to leaders in community dance practice, and have in-depth applied experiences interacting with different populations in a variety of community dance contexts.
