Contemporary Ballet II

Catalog description

Furthers the study of ballet with a contemporary lens, allowing the dancer to develop and hone the relationship between the somatic experience and the ballet tradition. Employs further investigation of concepts as students manipulate physical concepts to deepen their understanding of the theory and lineage of contemporary ballet. Faculty assess students' abilities within the first week of class to ensure this course is a good fit.
