Nonmajors Hip Hop I

Catalog description

Introduces various styles of dance within the hip hop genre. Covers the fundamentals of dance through embodied learning of hip hop styles based on instructor's area of expertise. No previous dance experience necessary. Expects students to engage in both weekly movement classes as well as at least one cultural event beyond the studio to better understand their dance practice within the cultural context of which they exist.
