Catalog description

Introduces the systems of public, nonprofit and private sector resources and services comprising contemporary community development. Helps students maximize their educational journey in the School of Community Resources and Development and develop a plan to obtain the knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics (KSAOs) and key experiences to prepare for future employment and leadership. Organized to include multiple thematic units with emphasis on the delivery of services in the sports, parks, recreation and recreational therapy sectors, tourism and events sectors and nonprofit professions.
