Catalog description
Examines coalition warfare, the dynamics of alliance politics and the strategic challenges of combined operations. Using case studies from the interwar period through the Second World War, students assess how states mobilize resources, sustain operations and balance national interests within coalitions. Emphasizes civil-military relations, unity of effort and the operational environment across land, sea and air domains. Students develop skills in analyzing coalition decision making and strategy execution, with attention to leadership, command and the adaptation of military institutions to political objectives and evolving wartime realities.
