Catalog description

Explores the ideas and writings of the leading economic thinkers of the last 100 years. Emphasizes those thinkers who have had a major impact on public policy. Thinkers covered include Keynes, Hayek, Schumpeter, Polanyi, Galbraith, Friedman and Piketty. Also attends to the way economics and, more generally, social science have increasingly shaped public policy over the course of the last century.
