Catalog description

Introduces the psychological factors that are associated with participation and performance in sport, exercise and other types of physical activity. This field is primarily interested in two main areas: (1) understanding how participation in sport, exercise and physical activity affects a person's psychosocial development, overall health and mental well-being throughout the lifespan; and (2) helping athletes use psychological science to achieve optimal mental health and to enhance their performance.
