Clinical Innovation I: Clinical Immersion Experience

Catalog description

Covers the clinical environment where students rotate through different medical, research and surgical specialties in groups. Students are expected to actively engage and participate with clinical mentors in needs finding and screening. Following each clinical block, students compile and submit a list of needs to program faculty and student peers for review and provide feedback during scheduled debrief sessions. Expects students, by the end of the CIE experience, to have narrowed down on their top three clinical opportunities with needs statements. Team formation takes place based on student interests/skillsets.
