Applications in Medical Engineering II

Catalog description

Integrative course designed to reinforce concepts of physiological and clinical systems through engineering principles. Running concurrently with coursework covering key physiological systems, students reverse engineer physiologic systems to better understand foundational mechanistic concepts in medicine, analyze current clinical tools and treatments, and incorporate engineering principles and artificial intelligence to understand the impact and limitations of these technologies on the future of medical care.
