Catalog description
Provides a foundation in the fundamental concepts of magnetic resonance imaging and some applications to measure physiological processes and changes with respect to disease. Incorporates real-time demos using a bench-top MRI system. Several local MR experts present guest lectures on specialized topics. Requires a working knowledge of the fundamentals of signal analysis and Fourier transform theory and linear algebra to be successful in this course.
