Explores the cellular and molecular neurobiology of the central nervous system across many levels (genetic, molecular, cellular and network) by examining the principles underlying the function of individual neurons and how these principles give rise to integrated neuronal networks. Emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving in all evaluation exercises, including daily class participation.
