Catalog description

Explores the ecological and evolutionary causes of selfishness and cooperation in human societies. Students apply biological models to predict patterns of behavior in human populations and evaluate these models with empirical data. Develops new scientific and philosophical perspectives on human behavior by integrating ideas from complementary disciplines, including biology, psychology, anthropology, criminology, sociology and philosophy.
