Catalog description

Culminating experience for students in the Behavioral Data Science track. Provides an opportunity to synthesize psychological theory, data science techniques and ethical reasoning through an applied analytics project. Students work independently or in small teams to address a real-world problem using behavioral data. Projects involve formulating research questions; managing data pipelines; applying advanced statistical and computational methods (e.g., machine learning, mixed effects modeling); and communicating findings to both technical and lay audiences.
