Catalog description

Overview of problem solution tools, quality metrics, and current technology initiatives related to air traffic management and related industry problems in a project environment. Student projects focus on airport and airspace requirements. Student teams work with partners from industry, government, and academia to define project objectives and work toward a formal recommendation to help solve the specified problem. Class discussions focus on project management, organizational structures, strategic initiatives, strategy implementation and execution. Uses review and analysis of current industry problems and resolutions to provide examples of practical solutions.
