Catalog description
This dynamic, experiential journey helps students explore, design and prototype their future lives with intention and creativity. Through a series of interactive modules, students engage in self-discovery, cultivate curiosity, build resilience and develop practical tools for navigating college, career and life. Drawing from design thinking, positive psychology, social and behavioral science and experiential learning, the course empowers students to identify their values, strengths and aspirations while embracing risk, failure and iteration as essential parts of personal and professional growth. Students develop life design skills grounded in evidence-based practices. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, students gain insight into human experiences, behaviors and motivations that help them navigate their academic and professional development.
