Catalog description

Examines how social, political and cultural factors create greater health risks for some ethnic groups compared to others. Takes a cross-cultural perspective, exploring how different societies around the world construct ethnic distinctions and how these distinctions shape individuals' life chances and health outcomes. Also reviews interventions and policies that have successfully reduced ethnic health disparities in countries around the world.
