Catalog description

Explores meaningful intersections between artmaking, teaching and learning. Orients students to the many sites of learning in the arts: the classroom, the museum, the natural world, the home, religious and secular spaces, and the digital realm. Investigates the creative process as an intrinsic part of human development expressed in artifacts, ornamentation and ceremony within everyday life. Hands-on projects accompany research, readings and discussions.
