Surveys Arabic prose treasures such as Maqama, Hikaya, Khabar, Risala and Drama. Pays particular attention to the collection of folklore tales known as The Arabian Nights (The Thousand and One Nights), using them as one of the most fascinating 'world' texts, loaded with fairy tales, fables, romances, farces, legends and folk stories.
