Catalog description

Focuses on the fundamentals of airline economics and the volatility of industry performance at the operating level. Topics include the structure of the airline industry and the various historical and current operational strategies; demand, traffic, price and yield; operating revenues and operating costs. The airline industry is affected by various economic, environmental, political and regulatory conditions. Reviews the implications of these conditions on airline pricing, capacity, fleet selection and scheduling. Analyzes current and predicted future conditions to develop potential strategies for successful revenue management within the industry.
