Catalog description

Builds on previously gained knowledge and experience. Student pilots utilize long-range communication and data links, UAS sensors, geospatial data collection, and still-imaging mosaicking. Students continue flight training using existing simulators and flight-tests during the course. Students apply concepts acquired during classroom sessions and construct a ground control station, modify and upgrade existing unmanned aircraft with payloads/sensors, train to operate sensors using existing simulators, and conduct flight-testing. Incorporates UAS data collection and analysis throughout the course.
