Catalog description

Immerses students in the collaborative process of conceiving and prototyping a digital game within a professional-style studio environment. Guided by faculty with industry experience, students work in teams to explore the early phases of the game-making pipeline, including ideation, prototyping, initial playtesting and organizing for concentric development. Emphasizes iterative design, critical feedback and agile development methodologies. Students practice communication and collaboration across teams while developing the organizational and planning skills necessary in the preproduction phase.
